Muscles
Muscle tissue is divided into three groups: The skeletal muscles, the cardiac muscle and the organ muscles. Muscles respond to stimuli and are controlled by the brain. They enable us to carry out our everyday movements, be they voluntary or involuntary (e.g. heart muscle). They cover the bones and include at least one joint. They support and protect our skeleton. They help with breathing and to generate heat. For biological reasons, women have significantly less muscle mass than men and therefore feel the cold more easily. The rule of thumb applies: The more muscle mass a person has, the more active is the metabolism and the heat production (even at rest). Additionally, our muscles store every emotion we experience or have experienced in life. Depending on the situation and experiences, this leads to poor posture, muscle hardening and pain. Quotidian life become more difficult.
