Gua Sha
Gua Sha is an ancient healing method widely used in East Asia and Southeast Asia. Using a rounded jade scraper, the oiled skin is scraped several times along the muscles and/or meridians. This technique opens the blood capillaries, promotes blood circulation, stimulates the lymph and supports the body in detoxification. The resulting redness of the skin disappears after 2-4 days. The patient experiences relief and noticeable change immediately after the treatment.
Excreted toxins that cause the redness, i.e. "bad" blood
